地理

圣特克莱地区主要属于巴蒂斯卡尼亚 (Batiscania) 水系流域；北部通过梅基纳克河 (Mékinac river) 的水系斜坡，属于圣莫里斯河 (Saint-Maurice River) 的流域。

Envies河发源于Traverse湖，是该地区最重要的水系。其河道穿越Saint-Joseph区，向西南方向流向Saint-Tite的边界；然后，河道依次穿越后者的市镇，以及Saint-Séverin和Saint-Stanislas。它在Saint-Stanislas注入巴蒂斯卡河的西岸。

该市始建于1873年，拥有悠久的农业、林业和宗教历史。圣特克莱天主教堂建于1903年至1905年。祭衣间的苦路像制作于1907年至1908年。教堂的大型管风琴购于1914年。教堂内部装修于1932年完成，由著名画家Louis-Édouard Monty主持。1938年，教士Maxime Masson在教堂东北侧的基座上竖立了传说中的水泥狮子。1938年8月3日，一场飓风摧毁了圣特克莱教堂的两座钟楼。许多建筑物和房屋遭到损坏。52岁的教区长Maxime Masson于1955年7月1日去世；根据教区记录，他在1903年至1955年间洗礼了2497名儿童。1987年，高祭坛在教堂唱诗班席重建。
