乌拉拉位于新英格兰高速公路（A15）上，位于阿米代尔西南方向23.5公里处，位于塔姆沃思西北方向88.5公里处。

经廷哈路/邦达拉路，穿过吉尔盖（Gilgai），穿过邦达拉，继续沿雷击之路（Thunderbolts Way）前行，跨过格威德尔河（Gwydir River）桥，在乌拉拉郊区左转进入希尔街（Hill Street），距离因弗雷尔东南方向119公里。

乘火车

火车每天在悉尼和阿米代尔之间往返，途经韦里斯溪和塔姆沃思。悉尼中央车站（Central Station）出发的火车于9:30 AM发车，下午2:57到达韦里斯溪。火车随后分为两部分，一部分前往甘尼达、纳拉布里，终点站是莫里。

另一部分列车（您需要乘坐的）于下午3:37到达塔姆沃思，下午3:55从塔姆沃思出发，下午5:12到达乌拉拉，下午5:35到达阿米代尔。开往悉尼的列车每天早上8:40从阿米代尔出发，8:56从乌拉拉出发，上午10:09到达塔姆沃思，上午10:27从塔姆沃思出发，上午11:07到达韦里斯溪，与来自莫里、纳拉布里和甘尼达的列车汇合。合并后的列车下午4:38到达悉尼中央车站。
