• 1 Akwesasne Mohawk Reserve — in the extreme southwest of Quebec. The reserve extends across the St. Lawrence River into Ontario and New York State. The Quebec portion of Akwesasne is much easier accessed from Ontario or New York (unless you have a boat), since there are no roads linking the Akwesasne reserve to the rest of Quebec. Its main tourist attraction, the casino, is on the New York side.
