气候属热带气候，全年降雨充沛。大多数日子里阳光明媚，白天的最高气温在 29–32 °C (84–90 °F) 之间，下午会下雨，太平洋的水汽移入内陆导致天空多云。

Legazpi is subdivided into 70 barangays, but for the visitor, the city proper has two districts, the Old Albay District, the downtown (poblacion) which is also an old town with a grand old cathedral, and the Port District, the waterfront area with busy malls and a picturesque waterfront boulevard. The former airport, Mayon Volcano, and Ligñon hill are north of the city proper. The new airport is 2 公里 (1.2 英里) away from downtown, at Daraga.

It measures 40 米 (130 英尺) long and around 2.1 米 (6.9 英尺) deep below the ground. It was built by Japanese during WW2. • 5 Liberty Bell, Rizal Avenue, Old Albay District (at Peñaranda Park). Open 24 hours. Housed on a concrete dome structure. This bronze bell was a gift from the Americans (the 158th Infantry Regimental Combat team of the US 6th Army) command led by Brig.General Hanford Macnider and Captain Hoomer Mcgee) in 1945 after the liberation of the city from the Japanese occupiers. The episcopal seat of the Diocese of Legazpi, it was first built by Spanish missionaries as a wooden chapel in 1581. A monument named after the complete Bicolano folk epic Ibalong. Based on another Asian epic the Ramayana and was allegedly narrated by an ancient sage called Kandunung.
